How I dyed my synthetic extensions.

Recently I purchase a bright red 26" straight synthetic extentions from Ebay (link below), I knew it was risk because it would most likely not match my shade of red, but for £6.47 I was willing to take the risk.

It took two days to delievery, for a free delivery it was not bad at all, but then I had the disappointment of it not matching my shade of red, it was far too bright, which I was surprised.

I have done my research in how to dye synthetic wigs, from experience I have dyed a white wig before with water colour but I had no idea how to dye and change the shade of a red one. On my small search people were using alcohol and filter pen to dye it, which sounded a bit strange so I decided not to do it and go with my instincts and I had the idea of using my normal hair dye to dye it. for those who don't know the hair dye I use is Coral Red by Directions, it is a conditioning hair dye so I guessed it wouldnt do any harm to the synthetic hair. So I applied it on the entire half head extentions and waited for a hour, I was so disappointed, it only made it slightly more orange than it actually was.

After that I was deterinated in getting the right colour, can not give up that easily! haha, so, I purchased crazy colour in black and applied in the who extentions again, I had nothing to loose anymore after all, waited another hour, and yes ! I got it in the exactly same shade as my hair !!

Here is the link to the hair extentions: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400968209579?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=670502938165&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Available in so many colours, lenghts and textures!
